TOWER OF LONDON & THE CROWN JEWELS – Quite simply the most impressive medieval fortress in Britain! The White Tower was built by William the Conqueror, back in 1078. Since then, it has seen the execution of three Queen’s of England, the torture of numerous prisoners and has also been a zoo, a mint and most importantly a Royal Palace. Today you can see the Beefeaters, learn the legend of the Ravens and marvel at the magnificent Crown Jewels.

CHANGING THE GUARD AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE – We alight near The Mall and make our way to the London home of the Royal Family, via St. James’ Palace and there will see the famous Changing of the Guard- a photographer’s paradise! When the Guard Change does not take place we will visit Horseguards Parade and see the colourful cavalcade of the Household Cavalry.

CRUISE ON THE RIVER THAMES - A delightful cruise along the Thames, gliding smoothly through the heart of London where you will enjoy some superb riverside views of our majestic buildings. There will be an opportunity to enjoy a pub lunch on the South Bank (not included)

ST PAULS CATHEDRAL– We start the afternoon part of our tour with a visit to St Pauls Cathedral. This masterpiece was designed in 1673 by Sir Christopher Wren, our tour will include listening to the 1695 organ that Mendelssohn once played and visi the tombs of Nelson and Wellington. With your professional tour guide you can also test the unique acoustics of the Whispering Gallery, not nirmally visited by tour groups. On Sundays when viewing is restricted, there will be an opportunity to enter and enjoy one of the services.

ANCIENT CITY OF LONDON– The British Airways London Eye is the worlds highest observation wheel towering 135 metres above the centre of London, and offers magnificent panoramic views - on a clear day it is possible to see as far as Windsor Castle!
