A fascinating tour that will introduce you to the history of Stirling with its famous castle and the natural beauty of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

First we drive to South Queensferry with its fabulous views overlooking the Firth of Forth

Next, you'll have the opportunity of visiting imposing Stirling Castle. It stands on a sheer crag looking down towards Bannockburn, the battlefield where in 1314 Robert the Bruce defeated the English. James V turned the castle into one of Scotland's most sumptuous palaces, which became the home of the Scottish Court.Our extended stop in Stirling will allow a leisurely visit to the Castle or the chance to explore the town itself.

Our scenic drive continues through the village of Doune, with its 14th century castle, to Callander, a pleasant tourist town that became popular in Victorian times.

The Trossachs is a wonderful area of lochs and wild mountain vistas. We travel from Loch Venachar then climb the dramatic Dukes Pass to the pretty village of Aberfoyle where we will make a stop.

We end our tour on a real high-note as we drive along the “bonnie, bonnie banks“ of Loch Lomond where, if you wish, you can enjoy an optional cruise on the Loch.
